A gaggle of gigs
This is getting a little silly. Beltzner has been offering up some of his gmail invites to, well, basically anyone who's interested. I noticed that I have a couple to give away as well. And if by "a couple" you mean eight, then I have more than I know what to do with.

What's the deal with these gmail accounts? Can you only get one by invitation? Why are they so cool to have? There has been quite a flurry of people competing for gmail invites on various blogs, it seems.
If you truly do have more than you can get rid of, and if they are free, then I would probably be interested, as an upgrade from hotmail. After all, I've missed every other internet phemom of the past ten years. Might as well get with it.

I would love a gmail account. Mostly because I'm curious to see if my screen name is taken already. But also because hotmail is the throbbing heart of Satan and eats digital babies.
