The Kitty Who Went Quack

After a battle with aggressive cancer, my sister's wonderful black kitty Indigo has left us. She was a very playful and loyal kitty, born on Wolfe Island and joined our family by hitching a ride on the ferry back to Kingston via my sister's briefcase. As kitties go she was a true individual. She loved to play fetch and didn't really meow. She quacked a lot and did a remarkable imitation of a Ton-ton (something that forever endeared her to me). Most importantly she was a great friend and kitty to my sister and Andrew. The hardest part about having pets is that you generally outlive them. The loss we feel without them is awful, but nothing in comparison to the joy they bring to our lives. Thank you for all the good times and all the love, Indy. We'll miss you.
